Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. This page explains which cookies we use, what the notice bar does, and how you can control them.
Details
What cookies and similar storage are
Cookies, local storage, and similar tools help a site remember a choice, keep a page working, or let an embedded service (a video player or a map) load. Some are set by us. Others are set by companies whose content appears on a page.
This policy is effective August 28, 2026 and applies to the LifeCare Chiropractic website. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
Essential site storage
We store one first-party preference so the cookie notice does not keep returning after you have seen it:
lc-cookie-consent— saved in your browser’s local storage when you choose Accept or Dismiss on the notice. The value is simply that you acknowledged the bar. The site does not unlock extra features based on which button you press.
The site also needs ordinary technical cookies or headers that hosting and the browser use to deliver pages securely. Blocking all storage can make the notice reappear or affect how embeds load.
Analytics
We do not currently load a separate first-party analytics script (for example, Google Analytics) on this site. The cookie notice mentions understanding how the site is used; that refers to ordinary hosting logs described in the Privacy Policy, not a dashboard we operate on your device.
If we add a first-party analytics tool later, we will update this page. We will not treat the existing notice as consent for a new tracking product without saying so here.
Third-party cookies and embeds
Some pages load content from other companies. Those companies may set their own cookies or use local storage when their code runs:
- Google Fonts / Material Symbols — icon fonts loaded from Google’s font servers. Heading and body typefaces are served with this site through Next.js and are not a live Google Fonts request for Bitter or Montserrat.
- Bunny Stream — the homepage hero video and player (mediadelivery.net and Bunny’s video CDN). Playing or loading the video may set cookies or technical identifiers on Bunny’s domains.
- Google Maps — the map embed and map link on Contact & Schedule. Loading or using the map may set Google cookies and send the map request (including approximate location context) to Google.
We do not place a Google logo on our policy pages. Third-party marks may appear inside an embed because that is how the provider draws its own player or map.
The notice is an acknowledgment, not a consent wall
The bar at the bottom of the site is a short notice with a link to this policy. It is not a cookie settings panel, and it does not block the rest of the site until you click. Accept and Dismiss both record that you have seen the notice (lc-cookie-consent). There is no in-site control to turn individual cookie groups on or off.
You can still use the clinic pages if you ignore the bar. It will stay visible until you acknowledge it or clear the stored preference.
How to control cookies in your browser
You can delete cookies, block third-party cookies, or clear local storage in your browser settings. Steps differ by browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and others). Look for “cookies,” “site data,” or “privacy” in that browser’s help pages.
Clearing data for this site will forget lc-cookie-consent, so the notice can appear again. Blocking third-party cookies may limit the video player or the office map. We cannot offer a separate in-page cookie manager, and this policy does not add one.
