About Soft-Tissue Therapy

The Soft-Tissue Side of Integrated Care

Adjusting is one part of care. We may use Graston-style instrument-assisted work, massage, stretching, and shockwave to address the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia around a painful or restricted area.

  • Instrument-assisted soft-tissue work
  • Massage and guided stretching
  • Shockwave for appropriate cases

The Techniques

Soft-Tissue Techniques We Use

Each technique targets the soft tissue that adjusting alone can't reach.

Instrument-Assisted Work

Focused treatment for areas of restricted or overworked soft tissue.

Massage

Hands-on work to release tension and improve circulation.

Shockwave

Targeted therapy to support healing in tendons and fascia.

Techniques That Release the Tissue

Graston Technique

The premier method for treating soft-tissue injuries

Graston Technique uses patented, specially designed tools to address both chronic and acute injuries. It is the premier method for treating soft-tissue injuries and has been shown to convert scar tissue back to functional, healthy tissue.

Many patients are surprised to find they have scar tissue or fascial restrictions contributing to their problem. But just about any injury — from a broken bone to a car crash to surgery to even a minor sprain or strain — can heal improperly and leave scar tissue behind.

That scar tissue can remain for decades unless an intervention like Graston is used to affect it. For this reason, Dr. Bogash welcomes patients who have failed at all other treatment methods — the technique is that effective and that unique.
