Quick, Same-Day CDL Medical Exams

An examiner who teaches other examiners

As of May 2015, any physician wishing to do DOT medical exams has to take an FMCSA-approved class and pass a national test. Dr. Bogash actually teaches the required class to physicians across the country, educating them on how to best manage driver physical exams.

Few physicians understand how to manage the chronic conditions that affect your ability to pass the CDL medical exam as well as Dr. Bogash. Using simple lifestyle changes, he can help make sure you continue to pass year after year. No other clinic can offer this depth of understanding of what's required of drivers.

The Process

The process is simple

  1. 1Fill out a simple, brief health history.
  2. 2Complete the DOT physical exam with Dr. James Bogash, a certified medical examiner for the FMCSA.
  3. 3We complete your paperwork and give you the DOT medical physical form to take with you right away. We keep a scanned copy on file.

Blood Pressure

Blood pressure and your DOT physical exam

We understand that passing your DOT physical is important to your career and livelihood. Blood pressure is one of the biggest problems drivers have in getting a full 2-year DOT medical certificate. Some easy tips if you have high blood pressure:

  • Stay current with your prescribed blood-pressure medication.
  • Cutting back on caffeine and nicotine can help improve your blood pressure.
  • Cut back on salty snack foods, and on adding salt to your food.
  • A week or so before your exam, cut back on coffee, soda, energy drinks and salty snacks.
