Dietary fatty acid intakes and the risk of ovulatory infertility.
Concerns of infertility, both male and female, are definitely becoming more commonplace. There is obviously a reason for this reduction in fertility; Mother Nature would not shut down the “reason to be” unless there was a darn good reason. Enter mainstream medicine, seemingly oblivious to Mother Nature’s plan, who proceeds to force fertility on a body that’s not ready for it. I remember a patient that was excited about seeing a fertility “specialist” a year or so ago.
She had done her research and she felt he was going to find out WHY she was not getting pregnant. He ran a single serum hormone test (salivary profile taken over a month is arguably one of the best ways to evaluate what the hormones are doing) and determined that she needed hormone shots!! Some “specialist”!!! No talk about celiac disease, thyroid problems, diet, heavy metal exposure… I guess that the sad part is that this is ALL I’ve ever heard about “specialists.” The use of assisted reproductive technologies is damaging the health of our society, increasing the rate of preterm babies and babies born with higher lifetime chances of developing diabetes, heart disease and obesity.
