Suppression of Helicobacter pylori-induced interleukin-8 production in vitro and within the gastric mucosa by a live Lactobacillus strain

Are we seeing a pattern here?  And the bigger question is…is the H. pylori “epidemic” a result of antibiotic use in the first place?  If probiotic bacteria are so effective at helping to cure H. pylori infection, did eradication of our friendly bacteria in the first place set the stage for the H. pylori infection later?

The answer to this question seems pretty clear based on the evidence.  What a racket these pharmaceutical companies have going, huh?
