Physical Activity May Modulate Effects of ApoE Genotype on Lipids

Since its initial discovery and seeming death sentence in heart disease and Alzheimer’s almost 20 years ago, we are just now finding that these are NOT death sentences, but rather instructions for how these genes should be treated for a healthy lifestyle. In this case, high intensity exercise can improve lipid profile of patients with the ApoE4 genotype.
