IS INFERTILITY KILLING OUR LIVERS?

Infertility killing our livers? Unfortunately, you won’t hear the OB tell this to the GI doc. The reality is that PCOS (polycystic ovaries) is the most common cause of infertility in women and it is, without a doubt, a pre-diabetic condition. That means that lifestyle HAS to be implemented to fix PCOS. Meds (Metformin, birth control, “fertility” treatments) in no way fix the problem, and in some cases, make it worse.

This particular article again confirms the pre-diabetic link, finding that women w/ PCOS have liver cells dying off (Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis), another pre-diabetic problem.
