Green Tea Consumption and Serum Malondialdehyde-Modified LDL Concentrations in Healthy Subjects

Remember that LDL cholesterol does not do damage until it gets damaged (oxidized) to oxLDL. This study found that green tea help to prevent damage to the LDL molecule.

But, before you get too excited, the study group drank 7 glasses per day. Quite a bit for most people. However, in real life, green tea (and white and black) are just one tool in a healthy lifestyle that will help to protect our cholesterol molecules from getting damaged.
