Supplementation of hydrogen-rich water improves lipid and glucose metabolism in patients with type 2 diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance
Ok. I’ve taken several biochemistry and chemistry classes. Water is H2O which contains hydrogen, right? So, whenever I’ve come across those hydrogen rich water things I’ve always considered them more hype then anything.
So along comes a solid study on “hydrogen-rich” water, showing some pretty significant positive effects on diabetic markers. In my defense, I have a tendency to hold judgement on seemingly questionable therapies, falling back on the idea that we really know so little about physiology, always willing to keep an open mind to articles such as this.
